Meet your Instructor:
Michael is a certified NRA concealed carry instructor and a former US Navy Seal Sniper.  With his extensive training in firearms, he continues his passion by providing the public education though NRA certified courses that allow civilians the opportunity to become competent gun owners.  


Classes Offered: 
1. (Non-NRA) Basic Pistol-125$ 
A basic knowledge of firearms is required before you take your CPL class. This class is intended to provide the basics needed to safley handle firearms and move forward to your CPL.  You Will Learn:
  • Essential gun safety rules
  • Different types of pistols and which one is best for you
  • The basics of ammunition
  • The fundamentals of pistol shooting
  • Different shooting positions
  • The most common shooting errors
  • Proper gun cleaning and maintenance
  • How to maintain your skills
2. NRA Concealed Pistol License-125$ 
  • Entry level standards:  Note: Our shooting skill development training method will help most shooters qualify on the first attempt. 
  • Understand the basics of handgun operation and shooting safety
  • The ability to place shots in a 9 in circle at 12 ft. from a standing or sitting position
  • Completion Standards- Demonstrate safe handgun operation and and shooting skills to consistently and reliably place shots on a 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper up to a distance of 21 ft.
  • NOTE: If you are unable to preform the competencies listed in Basic Pistol, you will be referred to take Basic Pistol before proceeding with CPL. 
3. NRA Range Safety Officer-125$
To become a NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.
4. (Non-NRA) Private Lessons- 300$
This is for an individual that feels uncomfortable with the class setting or just feels like they need more one on one instruction.
5. Recertification Classes- 60$
6. All Female classes-125$

100 Rounds of Ammunition (If renting firearm, ammo charged separate)
Pistol you intend to carry (Rentals available for 60$ fee)
Shooting glasses and ear protection (available for purchase, 5$)

Classroom Capacity:

Clothing Requirements: 
  • Casual clothing such as blue jeans etc. is recommended
  • Ladies - please no low cut top wear- hot empty cases ejected form a semi auto handgun can fall into places.
  • Shoes: Generally wear shoes that help prevent slipping and falling.  Athletic shoes such as running and walking shoes are usually the best. No open toe shoes or sandals.
  • One baseball cap - Ejected cases have been known to fall behind safety glasses. A cap of any type helps protect your eyes.
  • Note: Prescription eye glasses are approved as safety glasses at the range. To ensure safety while shooting a hat should be worn to provided a visor over your eyes and help prevent ejected cases for falling behind you glasses. 

CPL Requirements:
  • Attend the 8 hour course.  (Certificate of completion given after class completion)
  • Apply at your county clerks office and finger prints at sheriffs dept. (100.00 for application fee and 15.00 for finger prints.)
  • The process takes about 30 days and the CPL license is mailed to your home address.
